These days we have no idea what the weather will do. So, in preparation for spring, we've concocted a simple infusion that will help refresh the body and brighten the day. Serve it hot or, be adventurous, serve it chilled, over ice or shaved ice!

This recipe was crafted with simplicity and ease in mind. It'll take as long as it takes water to boil. Try it and let us know how you modified it!

Hibiscus Kissed Hot Toddy

Ingredients:

  • ¾ cup water
  • 1 ½ oz whiskey or your choice
  • 2-3 tsp Playing w/Food's Hibiscus Kissed Sugar, to taste
  • 2-3 tsp lemon juice, to taste
  • 1 lemon round 

Procedure:

  1. Bring water to a boil. Add Hibiscus Kissed Sugar to the cup. Pour the hot water into mug.
  2. Add the whiskey, and lemon juice.
  3. Stir until the sugar has disappeared into the hot water.
  4. Taste, and add more sugar or lemon juice Garnish with a lemon round and Enjoy!

Ideas:

  • Don’t add any alcohol and drink it as a nice digestif
  • Replace the alcohol for CBD tincture
  • Replace lemon for orange, juice and garnish
  • Serve it on ice!
