A Michelada is a zesty and refreshing beer cocktail with the umami notes from the tomato juice, Worcestershire and Maggi/Soy sauces. It's perfect as a BBQ or a patio drink for hot spring and summer days. The addition of Playing w/Food Tangy Three Chili Salt gives it the right spice and zing to make your mouth crave more than just one. Enjoy it now that the weather is getting warmer!

 

Tangy Three Chili Spicy Michelada

Ingredients:

Yield: 1 drink

- Mexican lager beer

- 4 oz tomato juice

- 3-4 splashes hot sauce

- 2 splashes Worcestershire sauce

- 2 splashes Maggi sauce (or soy sauce)

- The juice of one lime

- Playing w/Food Tangy Three Chili Salt, as needed for the rim

 

Procedure:

1. To prepare your tall glass: run a wedge of lime around the rim. Dip it into Playing w/Food Tangy Three Chili Salt, cover evenly.

2. Add 4 oz of tomato juice to the glass. Add the hot sauce, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, Maggi (soy) sauce and a pinch of Playing w/Food Tangy Three Chili Salt.

3. Fill the rest with cold beer. Mix slightly. Garnish w/ a slice of lime.
